April 2001 Only 18 more days to go for my consultation. I've tried getting on cancellation lists to get it moved up, but no luck. I'm excited, I'm nervous, and I'm really thinking about the seriousness of all this. My weight continues to drop but more slowly. If I can maintain a BMI of 40 or above for the consultation, there's a possibility that's the weight they will take into account for the surgery, and not the weight when I actually have the surgery. I'll know more at my consultation. Right now I'm hovering on and off around the 270 lbs. mark which keeps my BMI quite a bit over 40. So I may be okay after all.
