March 2004 It's now been over 2 1/2 years since the surgery and things are great. I wear a consistent size 10/medium now and there are no foods that bother me anymore (the only exception is ice cream). I have no complications and never have. I don't feel constrained in any way regarding what I can't and can have. In a word, I feel "normal." My weight does fluctuate now that I can eat almost any foods, but that is normal. My portions remain small, and the amount of sugar I can eat also remains small. I got married 5 months ago and it's been pretty neat being a wife. There's been so many positive changes in me over the past 2+ years that I feel like a new person in almost every way. It's been my sincere hope that this website has been and continues to be an encouragement to many.
